The primary school/special needs school operation is part of the Education Administration. The operation includes 21 primary schools and a special needs school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Four of the primary schools are secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operation also includes after-school care.

Tjällmo School is a F-6 school located in an old cultural area with beautiful nature and exciting history. Here, knowledge, safety, and movement are in focus. Students are given the opportunity to work across grade boundaries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a teacher in after-school care with qualifications to teach in sewing and art. The position also includes being present as support in the classroom and having significant responsibility for social education during students' breaks. The position is a part-time employment of 60-80% depending on qualifications.

As a teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work within the after-school program. You are well-versed in the after-school program's curriculum and experienced in working with goals and quality work within the after-school program's operations. You are a good role model and follow the norms and values set by the curriculum and contribute to implementing and fulfilling the after-school program's mission with good quality. Your task is to promote each student's learning and development, as well as to create the best conditions for students, guardians, and colleagues to thrive and feel safe in school and in the after-school program's operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching license intended for work in after-school care and primary school with qualifications to teach in sewing and art. You have a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish. Experience in pedagogical work is required, as well as having a driver's license and access to a car.

As an educator at Tjällmo School, you are prepared to work with great flexibility, where a holistic view and solution-oriented approach are central to the operation. You are clear in your leadership role and good at organizing and planning your work. You work well with others and are used to collaborating in teams, have a positive view of students, and assume that all students can and want to learn.

Employment type: Permanent position.
Working hours: Fixed week Monday to Friday
